My Christmas Wish

Every year I wish for world peace, and that again is what I've wished for. For just one day, I want everyone to be civil. I want people to treat others as if they were best friends, even if they're enemies. Just for Christmas, is that too much to ask for?
After all, Christmas spirit is about family and friends. It's about love that warms us all. It's when everyone gets together and acts like a family. It's a time of giving, not just presents, but also kindness. All I want for Christmas, is one day where everyone is nice and there's no hate. Just one day. Merry Christmas everyone.

  1. that would be nice to get for christmas. thats the only gift evrybody really does need and doesnt even cost a penny. the only cost is 24 hours of getting along, with no arguing or fighting with everyone, even those you dont exactly like. by just doing this for one day, people could realize that they could do it more often, and maybe do it everyday. that would put an end to alot of violence. world peace is sounding better than a volkswagen jetta and some new chucks

  2. People always look at me funny and tell me that it won't happen. They're the people who keep it from happening. I mean, it's not just them, but they don't help. They could be a little more optimistic. Pessimism gets people nowhere. The problem is that not everyone wants to be nice, not everyone wants to make amends. That's the flaw in wanting world peace. The flaw is not wanting it, so much as it's that people won't do it.

  3. and thats the thing i dont get. who wouldint like world peace? a world where you arent worrying about whats going to happen, not wondering if youre going to be alive the next day. the world could be comming to an end..with war, the economy crashing, pollution, etc. the least we could do is just get along with eachother and end this nonsence and maybe avoid the world ending so soon

  4. That could be true, but it takes a lot of cooperation. It'd be extremely difficult.
